We Begin with People, Not Temperatures
The Voice of Women: Experiences of WeWorld Colleagues in Ukraine is a collective and reflective study that brings forward the lived experiences of women working within the humanitarian response in wartime Ukraine. Moving beyond statistics and operational reporting, the document explores the emotional, social, and professional dimensions of delivering aid while living in the same context of insecurity and uncertainty. Through testimonies and narrative reflections, it highlights resilience, care, fatigue, responsibility, and dignity. The study emphasizes the importance of recognising humanitarian workers not only as responders, but as people embedded in the same fragile systems they seek to support. It is part of the campaign “Right to Dream – Working Today for the Future of Ukraine.”
